New ADS40-SH51 Digital Sensor enhances Pixxures’ technology offerings

Arvada, Colorado, June 28, 2007 - Pixxures, Inc., a leading provider of aerial mapping, direct digital image processing, GIS services and imagery Web Mapping Services (WMS), has announced its recent joint acquisition of a new Leica ADS40-SH51 digital sensor and aircraft with Landiscor Aerial Information.

Landiscor is the leading provider of aerial information and photography to the southwest market, as well as one of the leading suppliers of photographic information products nationally.

"We are very pleased about this new venture," said CEO, Chuck Killpack. "Pixxures has developed successful partnerships with aerial image acquisition partners in the past and we intend to continue working together. The addition of this new sensor will enable us to not only provide reciprocal flying services, it will enable Pixxures to meet the increasing market demand for high-resolution speculative digital imagery and provide customers with competitive pricing and quicker response times," added Killpack.

The sensor will support the simultaneous co-registered collection of color, color-infrared and panchromatic imagery for both Pixxures and Landiscor’s operations and provide a base for value-added products. Additionally, Pixxures will utilize the high-resolution imagery to increase Pixxures’ online image library/store by adding data content to enhance their Web Mapping Services.
