On July 20, malicious players took control over his account and posted several tweets soliciting funds from his followers while falsely claiming that it was part of an official giveaway event hosted by Uniswap . Fortunately, Adams regained access to his account shortly after it was hacked and deleted all posts made by hackers before they could cause any damage.
